Une MX-5 Diesel?

According to MX-5 program manager Takao Kijima, Mazda is looking at alternative powertrains for the next model and mazda hopes to cut its overall weight by 10 percent. By alternative powertrains, Kijima is referring to either a diesel or hybrid powered MX-5.
“I would say the chance of a diesel or hybrid engine is more than 50 per cent,” Kijima told Drive.com.au.
The main issue is that a hybrid powertrain would add a lot weight to the MX-5 courtesy of the battery pack. A diesel powertrain would make more sense, since diesels are more fuel efficient than gas powered engines and don't have the significant weight disadvantage that hybrids do. Kijima also stated that the next-generation must have a 50/50 weight distribution, which would be even harder with a hybrid powertrain.
First thing first.... je pense que Mazda se doit d'être inovateur et competitif dans ce segment car pendant longtemps ils ont été les seul a offrir un roadster qui coutait pas le prix d'une porsche ou d'un audi. maintenant avec les roadster el cheapo comme la sky faut se démarquer un peu plus... Je la trouve belle sauf les putain de lumiere en avant, tous les mazda ont des gros phares proéminents qui donnent un allure sport sauf leur modèle spot qui a des ptit lumieres laites qui rappellent les lumiere des vieilles nissan NX.
La dans un monde ou le gaz coute cher il pense faire un hybrid mais c trop pesant...donc un diesel...wtf ca coute cher aussi le diesel pi c mal adapté a un roadster messemble... me vois dans une MX-5 qui pu le diesel et dont le moteur claque comme celui d'un tracteur (aka VW)...
vont0ils nous surprendre ou est-ce que la MX-5 s'en va vers la déchéance... on en voit deja moins qu'avant so...
