The initial Challengers are all going to be the SRT8 models with the 6.1L HEMI V8. Initially the car will also only be offered in three colors: black, silver and HEMI orange. All of the models will feature dual carbon fiber hood stripes. The Challenger is going to be available with either a five-speed automatic or a six-speed manual, although there have been rumors that buyers will have to wait for the 09' model to get the manual transmission.
The Challenger will be in showrooms next spring. Expect more details soon.
