The document that was given to lawmakers reports that GM plans on selling 17,335 units of China-made vehicles in the U.S. by 2011 and hopes to increase that number to 51,546 by 2014 according to the Automotive News.
The plan does not reveal which vehicles the US will receive, but the 50,000+ vehicles only represents 1.6 percent of the planned 3.1 million vehicles GM expects to sell in 2014.
Of course union leaders are not too happy about the plan.
WTF leur plan de survie implique de nous vendre des chars made in china.... c'est bad pour l'économie mais ca rentre dans les dents des travailleurs americains qui veulent pas baisser leur salaires... bin hate de voir ce que ca va donner a moyen terme.
